Cambridge Labour Parliamentary Candidate Daniel Zeichner has re-iterated his strong support for improvements to the A14. Speaking to Chris Mann on Radio Cambridgeshire’s Drivetime programme, he defended Shadow Transport Secretary Maria Eagle’s comments that she would want to look closely at the tolling plans. He said that many were sceptical about tolling and that the Government were being coy on how they would raise the three hundred million pounds expected to come in from tolling later.
