Daniel Zeichner MP said: "The unfolding events in Brussels are terrible.

My thoughts are with everyone affected and the emergency services that we all rely on at times like this.

As with the dreadful Paris attacks last year, again my mind immediately went back to the attacks in London. I was working nearby and heard the blast on the bus and later walked past. I will never forget that sickening scene. 

I know the people of Cambridge are standing shoulder to shoulder with the people of Brussels. We are united, we stand up for tolerance and diversity. Terrorists will never destroy our way of life and democracy must always win."

Anglia Ruskin student nurses met local MP Daniel Zeichner to express their anger and concern about Government plans to scrap the NHS bursary.

Student nurse Giovanna Mead explained how the plan will force nurses into debt of at least £51,600. This will happen as nurses pay the entire bill for their training, even though nurses spend 50% of their training time working for the NHS on clinical placements.
