Daniel Zeichner MP Standing up for Cambridge
Daniel Zeichner MP met Abellio bosses at Cambridge station to check on promised progress for passengers.
The MP saw the new temporary ticket office in action, press for better signage for drivers dropping off and picking up passengers while the short-term car park is out of action and meet new staff drafted in to help tackle queues.
Daniel Zeichner MP said: “Passengers tell me we need an immediate improvement at the station. I am seeking assurance this temporary ticket office will be able to cope once pressures resume after the holiday season ends. Cambridge passengers know the station can be a nightmare at rush hour, for a global city like Cambridge, it’s vital it’s full steam ahead at the station.”
