Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner visited Cherry Hinton Caravan Club Site as part of English Tourism Week.

Kicking off the summer season, English Tourism Week is the annual week-long celebration of events showcasing the quality and vibrancy of the tourism industry and the value the industry brings.

Daniel Zeichner was shown around the site by the wardens and discuss the challenges and opportunities the industry faces.

50 per cent of the UK population will take a break on a holiday park in their lifetime. One in 10 regularly holiday in a touring or mobile caravan.

Daniel Zeichner MP said: “I’m delighted to show my support for our tourism industry during English Tourism Week.

“The Cherry Hinton site is very impressive, wonderfully landscaped with the feeling of being in the heart of the countryside – and the wardens are very welcoming.

“I’m told the site is extremely popular all the year round which of course is no surprise because we all know Cambridge has so much to offer visitors.

“With more and more Brits enjoying a ‘stay-cation’ it is great to have a site like this.”
