As I and others warned when the Conservatives trumpeted the sale back in 2016, the loss of UK control would be damaging. Listing is now the way forward, but we need clear protections for Cambridge-based jobs and guarantees on future investment – we cannot allow such a world-leader to be asset-stripped.”
