At the campaign’s first hustings meeting the Green Parliamentary candidate who lives in Norwich suggested introducing a “CamCard”. Luckily Daniel Zeichner was on hand to let him know we’ve had one for years!

The main theme of the hustings held at Clare College was transport. Labour’s Daniel Zeichner explained how Labour would review the system of privatisation, which could tie in to measures such as devolving power to regional authorities and further regulation of bus services.

“I think taken together that’s a powerful package,” said Mr Zeichner, adding: “It’s doable, its achievable, and it’s actually pretty radical, and it might give something like the railway system we deserve in this country.”
