Daniel Zeichner MP Standing up for Cambridge
Daniel Zeichner MP visited Shirley Primary School to announce the winner of his Christmas card competition.
After carefully judging thousands of entries, eight-year-old Julius’s design saw off stiff competition to take the top prize. Runners up were Maria (11) from Arbury Primary School and Helena (9) from St Paul’s Primary.
Daniel gave Julius a certificate in front of his entire school at a special Assembly.
Now Julius’ card is being sent to organisations, charities and businesses right across Cambridge and to many senior national politicians.
Daniel Zeichner MP said:
“I was very impressed by the huge number of contributions I received when I asked the children of Cambridge for help designing my Christmas card. With snowmen, reindeers, holly and elves galore my office has looked like a winter wonderland. Picking a winner was a real challenge.”
