Daniel has been campaigning hard over the last year on the NHS, bringing Shadow Health Secretary John Healey to Cambridge.

Sustained pressure has pushed Liberal Democrat MP Julian Huppert to vote against some elements of the Bill. Over the months he voted for it, he voted against it, and on some occasions he abstained. Crucially for Cambridge, he supported abolition of the private patient cap, giving Addenbrookes the green light to develop a private hospital on site.
