St Luke’s Primary School in French’s Road is in the running for a major funding boost to improve their playground.

 

The school is one of just eight shortlisted in the UK school category of the One Family Foundation’s Community Awards. If successful, the school will win £25,000.

 

The project currently has 283 votes and now the city’s MP is calling on people throughout Cambridge to help them win the award.

On a visit to the school Daniel Zeichner MP said: “St Luke‘s has ambitious plans for their playground to create a new attractive, fun, stimulating and engaging environment. Let’s all get behind them and vote today.”
