The tour, which is in its 7th year is visiting 60 universities and is designed as a forum for powerful, thought provoking discussion. The event is taking place as part of Parliament Week, where events and activities happen across the country to connect people with Parliament and democracy.

Topics set to be discussed by the University students included the EU Referendum and career choices.

Daniel Zeichner MP said: “I’m looking forward to hearing from the students. It’s always great to meet young people interested in the big issues of the day. I’m very keen to hear their take on the EU referendum as I think the result is terrible but it is their futures that will be most affected.”
