Commenting on Keir Starmer’s speech to the Labour Party’s virtual Conference Daniel Zeichner MP said:

“Keir is a serious politician, with gravitas. The vision he set out is one I think Cambridge people share of a fairer country, with properly funded public services, with a government that wants to tackle the climate emergency, remove structural racism and be an active force for good in the world once again. But he is right, to do that we need to win, not just here in Cambridge but right across the country. I share his frustration of being in opposition, out voted night after night. I agree I want to be in a position to put my values and Cambridge values into action.”
