Daniel Zeichner, MP for Cambridge, will return to local school St Luke’s Church of England Primary to speak with children from Year 4 about his work at Westminster on Friday 20 April, at 11:00am. Mr Zeichner regularly visits the school, and his visit is timely as students have recently been learning about democracy. After speaking with the class and answering questions, he will join the Headteacher Dr Catterson for a brief meeting.

Mr Zeichner says: “I am delighted to be going back to St Luke’s to speak again about democracy and my work as the MP for Cambridge. I remember last year being struck by the enthusiastic nature of the children and positive atmosphere within the school.”

“Visiting schools and talking to a class full of children is, for me, one of the best parts of being an MP. The children never fail to ask intriguing and well thought-out questions. That of course is because of the great work teachers across our city are doing to encourage children to be inquisitive and excited about what they are learning.”
