Daniel Zeichner, MP for Cambridge, will tomorrow visit local school, Grove Primary School, and deliver a presentation to the children on the value of democracy. During his visit he will get an opportunity to speak with children and staff, as well as hold a meeting with Headteacher Ms Karen Martin on the schools progress and upcoming challenges.

Mr Zeichner says: “I am pleased to be making a trip to the Grove Primary School to talk to the children about one of Britain’s core values -; democracy. It is really important that children start to get an understanding of our political system and the workings of our democracy from a young age, so I am always very happy to make visits into schools and help with that. I have no doubt that during the talk there will be many thought-out questions from the children.”

“Visiting schools and talking to a class full of children is, for me, one of the best parts of being an MP. It is always very apparent to me that the teachers we have in our Cambridge schools are doing excellent work to make our kids inquisitive and enthusiastic about learning.”
