The Cambridge branch of Cath Kidson will close permanently, it was announced today.

It is one of 60 stores that is being axed by the retro retail label.

Daniel Zeichner MP said: “This is a tough time for the retail sector and frankly we know that post-coronavirus the high street will not look the same again. It is very sad news for the staff who have lost their jobs at a tricky time to find a new one and my sympathy is with them. The government needs to be thinking about how it will revitalise high streets and city centres in the recovery so Cambridge can keep its unique mix of quirky independent and chain stores.”
