On Sunday 13^th December 2020 – the day of the rail industry’s winter timetable change, 8-car trains will start running between Cambridge and King’s Lynn for the first time. This is a landmark moment for passengers on the route and has been made possible by recent infrastructure work by Network Rail to extend platform lengths at Waterbeach and Littleport stations, as well as construct a new siding at King’s Lynn.
