Pupils and parents were joined by Daniel Zeichner MP for a special community picnic.
The Arbury picnic is part of the Great Get Together, the third annual event where communities up and down the country come together to celebrate kindness, respect and all we have in common.
The Great Get Together is inspired by Cambridge graduate Jo Cox, the MP who was tragically murdered in 2016.
Teachers promise the school field will be full of picnic rugs and bunting and guests will tuck into special sarnies and take part fun games for all the family.
Daniel Zeichner MP said: “Well done to Arbury Primary for organising this picnic. In our busy lives, sometimes people just need an excuse to pause and be friendly. I’m sure new friendships are being forged and the school and local community is being made even stronger.”
