What is Casework?

Casework refers to requests for assistance that constituents bring to Daniel. This can range from urgent matters like imminent homelessness to ongoing issues with welfare payments. Daniel’s team of caseworkers is dedicated to handling each case fairly and compassionately. Depending on the urgency, they aim to respond promptly and may request further details or schedule a meeting with Daniel at one of his constituency surgeries.

Prioritisation of Casework

Casework is prioritised based on urgency:

  • Urgent Casework: Time-critical issues such as imminent homelessness.
  • Standard Casework: Important issues that may require up to 10 working days to address.
  • Policy Casework: Involving national or local policy enquiries that may require extensive research.
