Daniel Zeichner MP will officially opened the Cambridge Art Salon’s pop up art space nestled in the heart of Chesterton with a brand new exhibition called Kith and Kin.

Cambridge Art Salon have worked with Cambridge residents to restore the disused space and transform it into Thrifts Walk Studios which will house five independent artists.

The studios have a gallery with works for sale and a garden. It will be a place that the public can meet the artists.

Kith & Kin, featuring work from Cambridge portrait painter, Heloise Toop explores the connections between the family we have and the family we choose.

Daniel Zeichner MP said: “This is a great addition to Cambridge’s cultural scene.

Cambridge Art Salon is well known for promoting access to art in the community, and running contemporary arts projects. I’m sure this new space at Thrift’s Walk will enable even more people to get involved.”
