Local MP Daniel Zeichner swapped the benches of the House of Commons for the pumps at the Cambridge Beer Festival.

Mr Zeichner was at the festival on Jesus Green. The MP became a volunteer for the evening pulling pints behind the bar at the 43rd Cambridge Beer Festival.

The Cambridge Beer Festival is the longest running CAMRA beer festival and currently one of the largest regional beer festivals in the United Kingdom. 

Mr Zeichner said: “Cheers! It’s great to raise a glass to a great Cambridge institution, meet some of my constituents in an informal setting and help raise money to support the Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust.”
