There was lots of fun across Cambridge this weekend with a moose on the loose at the Abbey People Big Lunch, Cambridge’s first ever Pride celebration and the annual Arbury Carnival.
Daniel Zeichner MP said: “It was great to be a part of Cambridge’s first Pride. Cambridgeshire has Britain’s largest LGBT population outside of London, so it’s no surprise the first event was so popular, colourful and vibrant. What a success! I also really enjoyed popping into the Arbury carnival – the weather wasn’t as good as last year – but it couldn’t dampen spirits and then on Sunday the Abbey Big Lunch with lots of community groups and fun for all the family. Cambridge is great in the Summer!”
