Delighted parents are relieved that the closure of a popular nursery midway through term has been averted.

Earlier this month parents met Daniel Zeichner MP at Trumpington Park Early Years and Childcare after they received a shock letter advising them to look for alternative nursery schools.

However although the current provider will now stop providing services, the nursery will stay open after a crisis plan was put into action.

Daniel Zeichner MP said: “After a good deal of work I am pleased progress is being made with regards to Trumpington Park Nursery. A crisis plan has been put in place by the council. The plan should mean all 107 children who are currently enrolled at the nursery school can continue to receive quality childcare there. This is a huge relief for parents and children.”
