My thoughts are with everyone affected and the emergency services that we all rely on at times like this.

As with the dreadful Paris attacks last year, again my mind immediately went back to the attacks in London. I was working nearby and heard the blast on the bus and later walked past. I will never forget that sickening scene. 

I know the people of Cambridge are standing shoulder to shoulder with the people of Brussels. We are united, we stand up for tolerance and diversity. Terrorists will never destroy our way of life and democracy must always win.”
