Daniel Zeichner MP joined a local group supporting those suffering from Parkinson’s as well as their friends and relatives.

The Cambridge Branch of Parkinson’s UK brings people together so that nobody has to face Parkinson’s alone. It covers a wide area locally, providing information, support and advice for people with Parkinson’s as well as their carers, families and friends.

Daniel Zeichner said: ‘Going through Parkinson’s can be an unimaginably painful process for those who develop the disease but also for their friends and relatives. Local support groups like Cambridge Parkinson’s do so much important work to support people and their efforts should never pass unnoticed. I am very pleased to be able to join new friends in the group to find out more about how they have learned to cope with the disease.’

Cllr Charles Nightingale, Chairman of Cambridge Parkinson’s, added: ‘I look forward to Daniel’s visit tomorrow. As a group, we value all support we can obtain from our local MPs.’
