Daniel Zeichner celebrated “amazing progress” at a visit to Netherhall School  on Friday 28 April at 9am at The Netherhall School, Queen Edith’s Way.

The visit came as Netherhall staff celebrate their achievement since two OfSTED ‘Requires Improvement’ outcomes in 2013 and 2014. Following the appointment of a new Principal in 2016, who has overseen many changes, a recent Local Authority review supported the school’s self-evaluation that it is now delivering high standards across all inspection categories.

Daniel Zeichner said: “I am delighted to be able to tour Netherhall and celebrate the amazing progress made by hardworking staff, committed parents and such bright and engaging students.”

Chris Tooley, who became Principal of Netherhall in March 2016, added: “It’s great for our community to receive recognition for all we are accomplishing here at Netherhall. We know we still have a long way to go and that the financial challenges facing us and all local schools are without precedent; however, by broadening the horizons and curriculum experience of our students, in addition to achieving superb results in English and Maths, we are preparing them for a successful future in modern Britain.”
