Daniel Zeichner MP Standing up for Cambridge
Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner hosted a much anticipated debate on the merits of divestment from fossils fuels as part of the fight against climate change.
Joined by guest speakers such as the former Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams, and Labour’s Shadow International Trade and Energy spokesperson Barry Gardiner MP, the event took place at Selwyn College in front of a student audience from across the political spectrum.
Daniel hosted a lively Q&A with Cambridge students, who heard where divestment fits into Labour’s energy policy.
