Newly unemployed people need help with basic skills immediately, Daniel Zeichner told Radio Cambridgeshire’s Chris Mann on the BBC Drivetime show.  He was talking following the announcement by Shadow Work Minister Rachel Reeves that a Labour Government would test all new claimants to check that they have sufficient literacy, numeracy and IT skills – and help them with training if they don’t.
