Daniel Zeichner MP Standing up for Cambridge
Over a hundred senior citizens enjoyed a special Christmas treat at North Cambridge Academy.
This year’s party was particularly significant because it was part of the school’s ‘say goodbye to the old school building’ celebrations before they move in to their brand new school in February.
Not only did the pupils be providing homemade mince pies and sandwiches, they also put on top class entertainment and singing and dancing for the pensioners.
The afternoon ended with a traditional carol sing-along.
Daniel Zeichner MP, who attended the event, said: “Tis the season to be jolly – and this party is just that! It’s great to see old and young having a great time together – this is the true spirit of Christmas.”
